My mom has set up a quilt block exchange or whatever among the women in our family. We meet once a month and can either make our block during that time or like quite a few of us are doing, making it before hand. We make one for each person, a total of 6. After I get a block finished I will post it for your viewing pleasure. The pattern I am using is called Cross-Country and I am doing it in greens and a splash of pink. I thought I wouldn't go with the color I am sure a lot of my family was expecting, my favorite color blue. Anyway keep checking back for that pic of my finished quilt block.

I'm doing something wrong when I comment on your blog, because I have published comments a handful of times and they never show up.... sorry! Anyway, maybe this time it will work!
